Student Conduct Code
Students at the MLK Jr. High School Campus are expected to adhere to the following rules of conduct:
- Follow proper scanning procedures
- Do not bring cell phones or electronic devices to school
- Arrive on time. Lateness to school or class carries a penalty
- Carry your ID at all times and be prepared to show it
- Acknowledge all adult requests in a respectful manner
- Carry an official hall pass whenever out of class
- Keep your school building clean and damage free
- Follow the rules and maintain a respectful, orderly lunchroom environment
- Obey the “ten minute rule” (during the first and last 10 minutes of every period bathrooms are not available)
- Sign the classroom log book whenever you enter or leave during class time
- Leave the building promptly at the end of the school day unless you are enrolled in an after-school program
- Follow all the rules established in the DOE Discipline Code
Failure to comply with the Student Conduct Code will lead to disciplinary action.
