    Margaret’s Place is a home away from home. It is a safe place where students can find support, learn about how to deal with different types of violence, have fun and become leaders in their school.

     

    The Margaret’s Place Counselor, Ms. Santana, listens, helps students deal with the difficult situations in their lives and offers them the opportunity to:

     

    Ø     Drop in when they need to talk

    Ø     Receive regular Individual or Group Counseling

    Ø     Participate in classroom workshops and curriculums

    Ø     Learn about Relationship Abuse and Bullying

    Ø     Join the Peer Leadership After-school Club

    Ø     Get involved in school wide campaigns

    Margaret’s Place is funded by the Joe Torre Safe at Home Foundation and it is named

    after Joe Torre’s mother - Margaret
