Renaissance School of the Arts
core belief is that education adds immeasurable value to our human existence. It empowers us to dream, enlightens us to our potential and liberates us to take hold of the unknown.
Renaissance School of the Arts represents an exciting approach to middle school education enriched with performing arts study and exposure. Core content instruction and arts study and exposure combine to give students a strong foundation for high academic achievement and lives as leaders, performing artists and responsible citizens. Students receive instruction from RSA teachers and visiting artist. Our teachers instruct utilizing the Workshop Model. This model directly draws from effective structures of direct teacher instruction, integrates the use of teacher conferencing, student group work and reflection on skills and concept development. Our partnership with Lincoln Center Institute brings performing and visual arts to our students’ fingertips through observation, demonstration, and direct arts instruction.
Our school provides for every student, a stimulating and rigorous educational program which encourages and supports students as they strive toward academic excellence. More than this, it affords every child the opportunity to reach beyond external definitions of success and deposits within each of them the seed of a future with No Limits, and No Boundaries.
