Instructional Support Services (Special Education)

The staff at CPEII monitors the progress of their students very closely. We strive to meet the needs of each of our students through a variety of instructional practices. For students that need extra help, we are able to offer several types of services including math and literacy specialists, extended day classes and IEP service providers. Parents will be notified if their children are in one of these programs.

We have a full time SETSS (special education teacher support services) teacher on staff to provide academic intervention to students based on their IEPs (Individual Educational Plan).  Other services, such as counseling, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, and Vision Education Services may also be indicated. These services are provided based on evaluations by a team of professionals.

Any parent who feels that their child requires such services may contact the principal for assistance.
