TECHNOLOGY USE AT THE FINLEY SCHOOL 

Our Technology Program

    Students from Pre-Kindergarten to the 6th grade have daily access to computers and the Internet. The Computer Technology Program offers many educational applications for students, including; research projects, written reports, presentations, interactive tutorial programs and educational games. Each classroom is equipped with at least one computer. In addition to a functional computer lab, we also have Mobile Wireless Laptop Computers that students can use in any part of the building. The Accelerated Reading Program makes great use of this technology on a daily basis. Students use the Computer Lab, The Library, and their classrooms to take quizzes on books they have read. The computers help give them the needed incentive and motivation to read.
