We are proud of the fact that this year our staff, students, parents and community are engaged in a clear commitment to school-wide reform, and to working together to build a strong teaching and learning community at the Countee Cullen Campus, that we call home. Through collaboration, research and inquiry, we are using the tools of data driven instructional practices, collaborative team teaching and increasingly more differentiated planning, and socially responsive character education, to build a focused curriculum that centers on our students’ strengths, differing abilities and interests. We are growing a school that teaches our children to be responsible for not only their learning but for their actions.
Through the exploration of technology, children and adults alike are learning to apply familiar and innovative skills to connect with the larger world that lies just outside our doors.
