Journalism Club
This is The McCune's News Journalism Club's 3rd year of publication! Our students inform us on the events of CS 200 as well as current events that effect us locally and globally.  The Journalism club consist of 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students that write informative articles, advice columns and editorials that also include pictures.  There are three published news letters per year. This year will be the 1st year that they will use ipads to create their publications.

We look forward to another successful year.

• " SPEAK - OUT "
  The "SPEAK - OUT" program is a partnership  with P.S. 200's students, teachers, parents and the National Association of University Women.
• The Young Men of Distinction (YMD) Ettiquette Program
  We teach our young men through hands on authentic learning experiences!
  
  The Young Men of Distinction Program was developed to further enhance the inner and outer strength of  young men (male students) attending The James McCune Smith School.
  
• THE ELEGANT YOUNG LADIES (EYL)Etiguette Program
  The Elegant Young Ladies Ettiquette Program was developed to further enhance the inner and outer beauty of our young ladies (girl students) attending The James McCune Smith School.
