    It’s time to read to expand my mind
    Use my imagination it’s writing time.
    Select a genre that suits my mood.
    Such a wide selection, which one do I choose?
    Plan, draft, revise, edit and publish-
    I take these steps so my work isn’t rubbish.
    To stay ahead I need to read.
    I’ll work hard to make sure I succeed!
    Let’s begin class in a positive way,
    “Work hard in literacy,” is all I have to say.
