Our Mission

The mission of Thurgood Marshall Academy Lower School is grounded in the belief that all children can learn and have the fundamental right to reach their fullest, individual potential.

As a reflection of the African proverb, "It takes a village to raise a child," our school values parent partnerships and collaborative efforts with various community-based organizations, businesses and other institutions within and outside the Harlem community.
