The community at P.S.128 believes that all students will learn and grow into adulthood as responsible and resourceful citizens. Parents and staff will foster a child-centered environment in which students' backgrounds, needs and assets will drive the teaching and learning process. Students will: 1. Demonstrate self-confidence and acceptance of others; 2. Apply learning to life situations across all cultures; 3. Solve problems utilizing creative and critical skills; 4. Read and listen for information and enjoyment; 5. Communicate orally and in written form; and 6. Work collaboratively. To attain these goals, P.S. 128 will focus on learning through sharing and doing, and align instruction with every child's development and interest.
