PS 173 offers a variety of sports activities:

We participate in the New York City RoadRunners Young Runners Program
In addition to field trips around tNew York City, PS 173 offers 5th graders an overnight trip to the Taconic Outdoor Environmental Center, at a State Park in Cold Spring, New York
