Overview

The mission of the High School for Media and Communications, a small learning community, is to inspire our students to think critically and to communicate clearly; to master a rigorous, well-rounded, academic curriculum with a basis in media and communications; to value their own heritage while also developing a global perspective on cultural, social, and environmental issues; to appreciate creative expression; and to incorporate integrity, responsibility, honesty, loyalty, and diligence in their professional and personal lives. The community, which will include students, parents, teachers, administrators, the public and private sectors, local community members, colleges, and universities, will operate under a covenant that will be synergetic and harmonious.
