P10X Parent Association

Hello and welcome to all our returning and new students, parents, teachers and staff. So, are you ready for an exciting 2010/2011 school year? We certainly are! The P10X Parent Association’s Executive Board is ready to kick off the year with enthusiasm. We greatly anticipate getting to know you, as well as working with you on issues and topics that are on your mind. We are especially looking forward to working alongside the great educators that will be devoting their time and energy into making our children shine! So come and meet us today.

• Goal: Increase our parent involvement. Join us and bravely step out to meet and learn about your child’s fellow classmates and make an effort to get to know their parents(who knows, one of these children could be your child’s new or first best friend!). Come check us out… you won’t be disappointed!

• Hello everyone. I am Evelyn O’Neill-Brown. My goal as President for the 2010-2011 school year, will be to continue to provide informative workshops which will include, but not limited to available therapy and behavior modifications for our children. I attend many outside workshops to help my own son Jonathan, who is in the 6:1:1 (autistic) program. I want to continue to share the information I’ve acquired and continue to be of assistance to our P10X families. I want to buddy up with parents from all sites this year so that information can be shared.

• Hello I am Ms. Andrea Daniels. I was Co-President of P10X Parent Association 2009/2010. I am an active member of the School Leadership Team for 2 years. My daughter Jada Vasquez, diagnosed with Autism, attends P10X @ 817; she is in second grade. My goal for the 2010/2011 school year, for the Parent Association as Vice-President, is more parental involvement which we desperately still need.

• Hello everyone. I am Nina DeNardo currently Secretary of the P10X Parent Association for the past three years. I also am an active member of the School Leadership Team for the past thee years. My son is 8 years old and will be returning for his fourth year. I am proud to be a part of a wonderful Parent Association team. Besides addressing issues at 304, we also take the off-site schools under our wings. I am looking forward to an exciting year ahead of us!

• Dropadi Ramdin. My son Fabian has been a student at P10X@304 since Kindergarten. I am Treasurer of P10X Parent Association. I am proud to be part of the Parent Association and my mission is to educate, enlighten and empower our parents. I encourage all parents to get involved and by doing this you will be helping your child as well.

Please feel free to contact any one of us on the PA with any concerns you may want to address, questions you have or resources you may need. Remember these are our children and we need to make sure they get the best education possible.
