Our Mission

 The purpose of the Felisa Rincon de Gautier Institute for Law and Public Policy (the GILPP) is to promote growth within students and the community. The GILPP creates a respectful environment where students feel safe exploring new ideas. Growth through learning gives us the power to understand what needs to change in society and the tools we need to make those changes. Our mission statement reflects the belief that all students possess leadership qualities. Across all content areas, the GILPP has a group of essential questions that challenge students to take a critical look at themselves and their relationship to the community vis-a-via the law and public policy.
