Scholastic Award Winners 2008

This year two of our three students who entered Scholastics Arts & Writing Awards received Silver Key awards.  The competition was extremely high compared to last year.  For the first time, they judged all entries from photos submitted on CD ROM!  
 
New York City students sent 1,800 submissions to The Scholastic Art Awards this year. Of those:
     • 221 Gold Keys were awarded to the most accomplished works.
     • 132 Silver Keys were awarded to distinguished works from New York City.
