Persuasive Essay: Bullying

Have you ever felt unsafe in your community? I think bullying is the most important social issue because many children get injured and killed. A social issue is a problem that affects peoples lives and the world. Now I will explain why bullying is the most important social issue in my community.

Bullying is a major problem in my community. Bulling has to be stopped! In the news I saw that in a school in Virginia, thirty-two kids got killed. It was a kid who brought a gun to school. And after the kid killed all those kids, he killed himself. And that was a big problem because that kid just made thirty-two kids family’s sad because they just lost a part of their family. Another reason is that bullying can happen on the Internet. They might send nasty messages. Another fact that I found in an article is that “bullying has moved beyond the cafeteria and playground. It is now in cyberspace. The world of computer networks.” In my opinion bullying is the social issue in my community that needs to be fixed. Bulling has to be stopped! Many children are going to get hurt! One solution to stop bullying is that in schools they could set up an Anti-Bullying program to teach kids how to handle a bully when they bully you. My other solution is that when you get bullied just walk away. If a bully is bullying you by the computer then close the page that they sent you and do something fun.

Do you love animals? Well, I do. A social issue is a problem that a community is facing. The most important social issue is pollution. Pollution is something that affects animals and the air. Pollution is a social issue that needs to stop because it is negatively affecting the earth.

Pollution needs to be stopped because the water is getting polluted and if the water is polluted, animals will die. If animals die, we wouldn’t have food. Pollution can cause Global Warming. Global Warming is the process of the earth’s atmosphere heating up. One solution to pollution is planting trees so the air can be clean and animals can stay alive. Another solution is to not litter because if we litter, the garbage would go into the sewer and straight to the ocean. It will affect the animals in the water.

The social issue of pollution is important to me because when I see animal planet, they show sad shows about how pollution affects animals. I think this isn’t fair because animals are dying only because of pollution. Pollution negatively affects the lives of animals. That’s why pollution needs to stop now!

Stopping Poverty

Have you ever seen someone poor living in the streets? This can be because they live in poverty. The most important social issue in my community is poverty. A social issue is a problem that goes around your community and mine, in your life even around the world. I will give reasons to support my opinion.

The first reason I think poverty is the most important social issue is because the homeless people have no food. In my opinion that is not fair they have no food and we do. The homeless people that have no food beg for money to buy food and they don’t have enough money for food. I remember when I didn’t have enough money to pay for my food and I felt just like them. I felt sad and hungry. That is why I think poverty is the most important social issue.

The second reason I think poverty is the most important social issue is because the people that live have no place to sleep. In my opinion that is not fair because the people that live in poverty need a place to sleep. Also because when winter comes they are cold and when summer comes they are hot. That is the second reason I think poverty is the most important social issue in my community.

In conclusion to me poverty is the most important social issue in my community. I think poverty should end. I think people should help the people who live in poverty. Also, the president should give the people who live in poverty homes and food. You should help the people who live in poverty!

Bullying

Have you ever been teased by someone? This might be because of bullying. I think the most important social issue is bullying. A social issue is a problem that happens in your life, around you and in your community. I will give reasons to support my opinion.

The first reason I think bullying is the most important social issue is because people get hurt. In my opinion bullies are dangerous people and can hurt us. Many kids get pushed and hit by bullies I know that because I read an article and in California two high school students were killed and 18 were wounded because of bullying. That is one reason why bullying is an important problem.

The second reason I think bullying is the most important social issue is because of people getting scared. In my opinion bullies are bad and some bullies make people cry because they can’t go any were but school. Some people even get mean messages and feel unsafe for what people say to them.

To me, bullying is the most important social issue. I think bullies are dangerous people and can hurt us. Also people should learn about bullies and how to stay safe. You can help stop bullying.

In my opinion kids skipping school is important because they lose a lot of education. Bullies make 160,000 kids skip school because they think bullies might hurt them. Kids do it just to avoid bullies. This is why bullying is the most important social issue in my community.

The second reason why I think bullying is the most important social issue is because bullies are everywhere. They are even in cyberspace. In my opinion bullies can send you a bad e-mail. Which is not good. They could be in your class or building. You could live on the same floor. Once I got bullied and do you think I liked it? No way! She was in my class and in my after school!

To me bullying is the most important social issue because bullying is going around in schools. I think schools should have anti-bullying programs. Teachers should tell students how to handle bullies. So do you want to be a bully or stop a bully? I rather stop a bully. This is why bulling is the most important social issue in my community.
