                                           The Writing Process

The pupils will be heavily engaged in the writing process from prewriting, writing, revising, editing, and publishing.

The students will log on to the internet and choose a website based on the subject area that they are studying. They will research the material, gather information, and paraphrase the facts into their own words.

The children will then word process the information in a microsoft word or power point setting. They will make a cover page, insert slides to place information as well as insert various color backgrounds and page transitions.

Correct grammar will also be maintained including capitalization of proper nouns, commas, period at the end of the sentence, and proper sentence structure.
