We offer honors classes in Mathematics and English, and elective classes that include SAT preparation (SAT Online), Drama, Disasters in Literature, Writing for the Social Sciences, Creative Writing, Forensic Science, Pre-Calculus, and the Blue Star Financial Literacy Certification Program in Economics, Naviance-Computer Based College Search Program, Campus Future Planning Center and Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC). 

Language Courses: French, Italian, and Spanish

Advanced Placement Courses: English Language & Composition, English Literature & Composition, Environmental Science, Spanish Language, Spanish Literature, World History and Calculus

U – Matter: This is a unique partnership between students and staff members. The program was designed to match targeted students with a staff member mentor. The relationship that students develop with their mentor will help personalize the high school experience, provide additional support and guidance that will contribute to our students’ success.

AVID: We are proud to be an Advancement via Individual Determination (AVID) School. AVID is a college preparatory program that targets students in the academic middle who have the desire to go to college and the willingness to work hard. AVID has a proven track record in bringing out the best in students and in closing the achievement gap. The involvement of parents is a priority in AVID. Parents sign a contract agreeing to support AVID academic requirements; encourage and support their child’s academic success; and attend AVID parent meetings.
