Our Mission

The school's mission is to educate the whole student by integrating strong academics with the arts. In working to address the needs of the at-risk, inner-city child, P.S. 68 strives to: build self-esteem and self-confidence in every youngster; develop sophisticated communication skills, intellectual achievement, and cooperative learning; promote tolerance, understanding, and appreciation of our diversity; and create a student body that is thoroughly motivated and prepared to succeed in secondary school and beyond.
