New World Academy
In the New World Academy,students will be in control of their learning experiences. Students will learn how to seek knowledge through research, use of the Internet, and project-based learning. Students will also learn how to represent a community, as ambassadors. This includes learning about citizenship,cultural ecpression and sensitivity, and communication.
There will be a focus on technology, competition, sportsmanship, and collaboration. As well as project based learning, students in the New World Academy will participate in many trips designed to enhance their learning experience. Students will be expected to incorporate these trips into the overall learning. Finally, there will be many culminating activities designed for studentsto demonstrate their learning and assess themselves and their peers, demonstrate ownership of their learning experience.
