Uniform Information

As you know effective September 2009 students will be required to wear a uniform shirt.  The decision came with a lot of thought, and a lot of listening to the thoughts of parents and students.  The major change is that now students will be required to wear one of two uniform shirts.  They can either wear the Grey Gym T-Shirt, or the Burgundy Polo.  The rest of how you dress is determined by the standard MAVAD dress code.  An initial uniform package of 2 polo shirts, 1 gym shirt, and 1 pair of gym shorts cost $20.  Additional shirts only cost $5.  Our full implementation day is Monday, September 21 (meaning that students have until Friday, September 18 to purchase their uniform shirts).  If you have question about this change please feel free to e-mail directly at RMassel@schools.nyc.gov.
