Policies & Regulations

Safety
We understand that as a natural part of childhood, students will have scuffs and disagreements at school.  We try to handle minor issues internally.  If you feel that another child has treated your child unfairly, it is strictly forbidden and unacceptable for any adult to talk to or approach another child near or around school grounds.  Every child must feel that they are safe and respected at school.  If you have a concern about a safety incident concerning your child, please contact a school staff member so that we can address the issue properly. 

Blue Cards
Blue Cards list emergency contact information and are required for all students.  In order to ensure that we can contact you or a designated family member or friend in the event of an emergency, we expect every child's blue card to be filled out completely and accurately.  If you need to submit or update a blue card, please speak with one of the secretaries in the main office.


Attendance
According to the Chancellor’s Regulation A-210, all students are required to attend school.  If your child is ill and unable to come to school, please provide a valid doctor’s note to either your child’s teacher or a school secretary.  In the event that your child is absent for three or more consecutive days, our attendance personnel will require documentation explaining the reason for the absence.
