Arrival and Dismissal
Our school day starts at 8:20 am.  Students who wish to have breakfast at school can arrive between 7:30 am and 8:15 am.  Morning drop-off for students kindergarten through fifth grade is through the main school entrance on Butler Street.  Pre-K students are to be escorted to their classroom by their parents.  As part of our work to foster student independence, please note that parents and guardians are not permitted in the cafeteria or the schoolyard.  It is imperative that students arrive to school on-time and ready to learn.  Lateness leads to missed instruction and disrupts morning routines. 

Our school day ends at 2:40 pm, and the extended day program begins immediately at 2:40 and dismisses at 3:10.  Pre-K and kindergarten parents are expected to pick-up their children from their classrooms and sign them out at the end of every school day.  First through fifth grade students are dismissed by their teachers in the schoolyard and parents may wait for them outside.  When the weather does not permit outside dismissal, students will be dismissed from the cafeteria and parents can meet their children outside near the cafeteria exits.
