SCHOOL CALENDAR

May 2009

Monday, 5/18 – 5/22 SPIRIT WEEK IS HERE!!  JOIN CLASSMATES AND STAFF FOR A WEEK OF FUN AND LAUGHTER!  NO UNIFORMS FOR THIS WEEK ONLY.  HOWEVER, STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO REPORT TO SCHOOL IN FULL UNIFORM ON CAREER DAY, MAY 22^ND.

Monday, 5/18 – Pajama Day.  Put your uniforms to rest and dress in your favorite PJ’s.  PARENTS:  Please remember to dress your children appropriate for the weather and the occasion.

Tuesday, 5/19 – Wacky Tacky Day.  Today is the day to dress as tacky and wacky as you want.  Mix and match as much as possible.  Colors don’t matter.  Enjoy the day!

Wednesday, 5/20 – Literary Character Day.  Today is the day to dress up as your favorite storybook character.

PARENTS:  Please remember to dress your children appropriate for the weather and the occasion.

Thursday, 5/21 – Wild World of Sports Figures Day.  Today is the day to dress up as your favorite athlete?  Who will you be today?  PARENTS:  Please remember to dress your children appropriate for the weather and the occasion.

Friday, 5/22 – Crazy Hat Day.  Spirit Week ends today with Crazy Hat Day!  Today is the day to wear your favorite crazy hat.  Enjoy the day.  Hope you had a wonderful week.   Return to school in full uniform on Tuesday, May 26^th.

Friday, 5/22 – CAREER DAY.  Career Day is an exciting event that allows students to interact with working professionals from a wide variety of fields.  Students have the opportunity to gather information on careers that may stimulate their interest.  STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO REPORT TO SCHOOL IN FULL UNIFORM FOR CAREER DAY, AND ARE ASKED TO BRING IN THEIR CRAZY HAT FOR CRAZY HAT DAY. 

Monday, 5/25 – MEMORIAL DAY.  SCHOOL IS CLOSED.  Return to school in full uniform on Tuesday, May 26^th.
