At PS 307 we believe that "Strong Bodies, Strong Minds" is a motto that we support by giving our children the support they need in the classroom as well as through on-site medical services. Lutheran Family Health Centers runs our School-Based Health Clinic which provides primary care, mental health and dental services.
Nurse Practioner Sally Arbolino heads up our school-based health center. Services include first aid, complete physical exams and immunizations, treatment for common illnesses, lead and tuberculosis testing, dental, hearing and vision screening, treatment for asthma, diabetes and other chronic conditions, mental health counseling and referrals to specialists.
Our School-Based Health Center is part of Lutheran HealthCare's managed care plan which is called Health Plus. When your child is enrolled in Health Plus, she can receive care at our School-Based Health Center for free or very low cost. Health Plus covers all health services for children under the age of 19.
