 • With the support and cooperation of families, community members and educators, our mission at PS 34 is to create a community of lifelong learners, where high expectations, best practices and a safe and nurturing environment contribute to the development of the whole child.

   • Our mission is embedded in the motto:

High Expectations of Today Nurture
               Successful Citizens of Tomorrow

    • We are a community of learners where educators participate in ongoing professional development that supports rigorous curriculum in reading, writing, and mathematics.

   • We believe that every child can succeed and we emphasize academic interventions that support every learner. We also believe that every child should have equal access to excellence in academic and nonacademic areas. Therefore, we provide a diverse enrichment program and various collaborations that support our vision.
