Science

Science at PS 110 focuses heavily on students conducting hands-on experiments and activities that relate scientific concepts to the real world.  Our science teacher has comleted special training in order to create lessons that ask students to make connections between what they see and experience daily and new ideas.  Early childhood teachers consult with the science teacher in order to enhance their own lessons, while the upper grades use the school science lab.  We have a strong partnership with the beautiful McGolrick Park  across the street where students make science come to life throughout the four seasons.
