Mathematics Department
The Mathematics Department at EBT offers a challenging academic curriculum aligned with the NYCDOE pacing calendars and the New York State Standards. Students at EBT are offered a four-term sequence that leads to the Mathematics A Regents examination and a three-term sequence that leads to the Mathematics B Regents examination. Honors Students are given an accelerated sequence culminating in the Advanced Placement A/B test.
The Mathematics Department uses a student-centered, project-based approach that integrates reading, writing and technology. The After-School Tutoring Program and the Saturday Mathematics and Science Institute offer additional support to the students who need it.
