Science Department
The Science Department at EBT is committed to provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating educational environment in which students willingly and enthusiastically, come to class to acquire the practical skill and academic knowledge that will enable them to become life – long learners. We will accomplish this by:
•Offering New York State Standards based curriculum.
•Providing a rich and academic program. This includes science preparatory classes like Foundation of Science, Regents classes like Living Environment, Chemistry, Physics, and Earth Science.
•Providing an enriched and more challenging program like advanced science research, honors classes, and advanced placement.
•Using a student – centered approach our programs are designed with the integration of Math, Science, and Technology.
•Offering Saturday Math and Science academic institute to reinforce their knowledge, in order to better prepare them for the Science and Math Regents examinations.
