  • The Student Press Initiative through which all ninth graders become published authors by collaborating on a beautiful trade paperback publication
  • Internships for high school credit at businesses, government agencies and community organizations
  • Multiple opportunities to use the arts and technology for classroom projects across the curriculum, including two art studios, computer labs and wireless laptops
  • Peer mediation program sponsored by the NYC Commission on Human Rights
  • Peer tutoring program sponsored by St. Nicholas Neighborhood Preservation
  • Electives in media studies, studio art and graphic design
  • Special education students served through Collaborative Team Teaching
