Our Community
M.S. 136 is a Beacon School. Hispanic Young People’s Alternative (HYPA) is in charge of this Beacon which operates daily from 3-9PM. Our community is served by other community-based organizations: Uprose (United Puerto Rican Organization of Sunset Park) and the Center for Family Life.
