Our Mission
AT MS 136, we dedicate ourselves to meeting the challenge to achieve and provide a curriculum with high standards which will prepare our children to become contributing members of our technological society. Through standards-driven instruction, all students will develop the academic, civic and social skills necessary to function productively in a community of lifelong learners. Our student-centered environment will provide a rigorous academic curriculum. Our school has created a model of excellence, whereby students and staff are fully committed to achieving quality instruction. The staff is dedicated to high standards and the belief that students must be active participants in the learning process.
