Conflict Resolution: S.A.V.E. Leadership, Negoti­ation, and Peer Mediation Programs

In leadership and negotiation, students acquire leadership skills, learn non­violent ways to solve problems, teach these skills to others, and perform volunteer service in school and the com­munity. Leadership is an elective credit averaged into the student’s grades. Students attend class during their lunch period (6^th and 7^th only).

In peer mediation, students are trained by a mediation specialist to mediate student conflicts as an alternate to suspension.
