The mission of Franklin K. Lane High School is to offer challenging, meaningful and exciting courses that provide each student the opportunity to become a "total person" -- one who will be an active and productive citizen in the twenty-first century. Students have the opportunity to be part of a "house" - which allows for personalization. Our Houses include the following: Law, Creative/Performing Arts, Virtual Enterprise, Junior ROTC, Math/Science Technology, Pre-Engineering, Optometry, and Ninth Year House to help students adjust to High School life. Our mission cannot be achieved without the involvement of all participants - students, parents, community and educational leaders. We encourage this collaboration to support the growth of all students cognitively, creatively, and socially.
