School Mission
Our mission at Intermediate school 30 is to provide a safe and collaborative school community dedicated to developing strong and resourceful academic learners. We believe that the foundation for success is achievable through rigorous, interdisciplinary, and interactive methods of instruction, curricula, and assessment.
The development of our Professional Learning Community culture will provide our learners with clear, coherent, and cohesive curricula, best practices of instruction, and assessments that measure students' learning and progress. Our Positive Behavior Intervention Program(PBIS), driven by our core values(ROAR), will assist our students in developing their social-emotional skills as they mature through the pre-adolescent to teenage years.
We believe that active parental involvement plays a major role in students' achievement. We believe that our learners should be active members in our school and surrounding community by partnering with community-based organizations. They participate in "paying-it forward" services. These partnerships serve to build their sense of responsibility as resourceful learners.
