Special Programs
Superintendent's Program, Preparation Course for Specialized High School Exams are offered. Regent exams in Math,  Earth Science and Spanish are offered to 8th grade students  who have met the exam criteria. Symphony Space, and Creative Educational Services are part of Project Arts along with our Dance Program.

IS 30 has one of the best track teams in the city and is affiliated with the NYRRF-New York City Road Runners Foundation. . This foundation sponsors the NYC Marathon along with other competitive races in the city.  This team is open to all students who attend IS 30.
