Clubs & Organizations

N.I.A.- Fourth and Fifth grade students can take part in the N.I.A. program. Students have a chance to participate in different sessions where they can explore a variety of activities. Students spend their time exploring scrapbooking, art, computers, physical education, and a variety of gaming options.

Student Council- In September, students take part in an invocation ceremony where they are sworn into their elected positions. Throughout the school year, the elected officials coordinate with their fellow students as well as the staff to discuss any concerns and ideas that will help make P.S. 176 an even better place. They also spend their time volunteering at at the Norwegian Home where they visit residents, share stories, and help celebrate holidays throughout the year.

Penny Harvest- A group of 4th and 5th grade students make up the Penny Harvest Round Table. Throughout the school year they spend time fundraising for various organizations that the students choose as well as volunteering within the local community.
