PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES
November 10th has been designated as Fall Conference time for all elementary schools. November 10th afternoon conference will be held from 1:00PM – 3:00PM and the evening conference will be held from 6:00PM - 8:30PM.
The basic purpose of Fall Conference time is to reinforce the joint efforts of parents and teachers in the task of educating our children. Our objectives therefore are:
l. To strengthen the bond of mutual understanding and concern for all children.
2. To discuss mutual problems and seek cooperation in resolving them.
3. To enrich and revitalize accomplishments in the remaining months ahead of the year by stimulating the children to greater effort.
In order to make certain that there is no confusion in the administration of this program, please adhere to the following:
CONFERENCE TIMES
Tuesday afternoon - November 10th
1:00PM - 3:00PM
Tuesday evening - November 10th
6:00PM - 8:30PM
On Tuesday, November 10th the children from Kindergarten through fifth grade will attend school only in the morning, regardless of the present lunch schedule. They will not return to school for the afternoon session. Meet your children on this day at 12:00 p.m. instead of the usual time.
ALL CHILDREN ENTITLED TO HOT LUNCH WILL
BE SERVED BEFORE DISMISSAL
PRE-K A.M. SESSION
NON-ATTENDANCE DAY
PRE-K P.M. SESSION
The afternoon children will attend school from
8:15AM – 10:45AM
Children should be picked up promptly at 10:45AM

B U S S E R V I C E
For the children who are taken to school by bus, we have arranged this procedure. The Kindergarten through fifth grade will be brought to school as usual. ALL BUS CHILDREN WILL BE BUSED HOME AT 12:00PM (This is the same bus service we usually have at 3:00PM) Bus children who eat HOT LUNCH will eat early enough so that they can take the bus at the proper time.
I know that as usual we will have your complete cooperation, so that these changes will take place in our usual fashion.

ATTENDANCE INCENTIVE INITIATIVE
In an effort to raise our attendance, we have implemented an attendance incentive initiative. For each class that has 100% attendance, they receive a commendation card. After the classes earn 10 commendation cards, they receive an ice cream party from the PTA. After the classes earn 50 commendation cards, they receive a pizza party. We want the students to learn that when they come to school everyday that they are awarded with a great education. We also want to recognize the children who are in school everyday for their great attendance. Please work with us to ensure that your child is in school everyday, receiving the best education possible. Thank you for your continued support.
