      The teaching staff of P.S. 247 is dedicated to providing all students with a quality well rounded education. The students will learn to meet higher standards, think creatively, and use technology.
     The staff hopes that through the cooperation of all members of the school community, our students will achieve the higher standards necessary to become leaders of tomorrow.
      Ongoing professional development and on-going training is an integral part of teaching at P.S. 247. Seasoned as well as new teachers participate in a great variety of programs. Ongoing professional development helps our teaching staff provide the best education practices for their students.
