My name is Ms. Meyerson and I am the School Counselor. The counselor meets with students, parents, teachers and administrators to discuss effective methods for students to succeed.
       In addition to helping students work to their potential academically, the counselor helps students socially and emotionally. Individual and small group counseling sessions cover topics such as self-esteem, respecting the feelings of others, the decision-making process and transition to middle school.
       The counselor works with parents to build home/school relationships. I am at the school five days a week. The School Counselor is an integral part of the life of the school.
