McKinley students routinely visit Lutheran Medical Center through the School Leadership Team.
In addition, funds from McKinley Choir events and charity drives is donated to the children's center of Lutheran Medical.
As a Beacon School site, many after-school program opportunities are available (e.g. homework help, drama, computer class, sports, etc.) six days a week to all students.
McKinley I.S. 259 is also a host site for Bay Ridge Community Council meetings. Our PTA are members of the Community Council and routinely attend the meetings.
