P.S. 506, School of Journalism & Technology is a nurturing learning environment, which together with parents, promotes and encourages the development of the whole child. As a community of learners, we are dedicated to providing our students with a high quality standards-driven education. Through differentiated instruction and authentic learning opportunities, our children will have the necessary capabilities to succeed in a diverse and technologically advanced society.
In doing so, it is our goal to create partnerships with various arts organizations, radio, print, and television media which provide real world experiences to further enhance the academic, physical, and social development of our students.
