Available for view is the 2011-2012 school newspaper which was distributed in early June for students to read and share with their families!
We hope you enjoy reading our latest issue which showcases our P.S. 506 students' creativity and journalistic skills through various genres of writing.

Also, for teaching and guiding students to become young journalists who understand and apply the journalistic process to create an informative school newspaper!

P.S. 506 Star Times
The Student Council Committee, organizes many special school events, fundraisers, and the Fifth grade scholarships for our school. A very important endeavor are the scholarships awarded to three outstanding fifth grade students of $500.00 each that will go towards their college tuition.
