Technology

Technology has gained importance in our society in the last decade. As such, we give our students many opportunities to explore technology within the context of their other subjects.

Students utilize mobile laptop carts with their classroom teacher to complete projects using Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and many other kinds of software. Thanks to a RESO A Grant we will have all classrooms equipped with mounted SmartBoards that allow the teacher to incorporate technology into all the subject areas.

As of February 2013 our eMac lab includes 17 iPads that Prekindergarten students all the way to Grade 5 students use to learn 21st Century Technology Skills. Students not only learn to use the Microsoft Office Suite, they use Inspiration, KidPix, GarageBand, iMovie, and many more programs to understand how technology can be used in many different ways.  Stop by and see our students SWIPE and CLICK on Mathmatics, English Language Arts, Science, Social Studies and Writing apps!
