Through the efforts of the Parent Coordinator- Gina Dacchille, Funded Personnel, Support Services and Curriculum Specialists, parents will be provided with ongoing workshops throughout the school year. The workshops will provide parents an opportunity to receive training activities and Q &A sessions about curriculum areas, as well as the new Performance Standards, City and State exams and hands on activities to use at home with their children. Translators will be available in order that all parents' needs are met. A parent lending library is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am-11 am in Room 102 for parents to borrow materials so that they may work with their children. It is our belief that by increasing the home/school link, the student's academic performance will increase as well.
