EBSCO

EBSCOHOST  has several components in English and Spanish. Some important sources are:

Masterfile Select features full text articles from around 800 periodicals (newspapers, journals, magazines). Covering virtually every subject area of general interest, it also has photos, maps and flags.

EBSCO Animals. An encyclopedia of animals including multimedia clips and photos. A good start for Animal Science projects.

General Science Collection: This database contains full text for nearly 640 science encyclopedias, reference books, periodicals, etc. If you have science project this is good place to start.

Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia. Good and reliable starting point for research.

EBSCOhost Espanol: Access Ebscohost in Spanish.

GALE
Thomson/Gale: is a database of databases, including Health Reference Center, Nursing and Allied Health, Health and Wellness Center and Allied Alternative Health Module, Business and Company ASAP, Twayne Author Series, National Newspaper Index, NewYork State Newspaperset. Proquest E-Curriculum includes

Curriculum edition: Students can find answers they need from more than 2,000 full-text and multimedia sources

History Study Center: History Study center covers many primary and secondary sources in World History and US History.

ProQuest Learning; Literature: Learning Literature database is an excellent source or research in humanities. Articles include critical analysis, author biographies.

Proquest Historical Newspapers: Provides allows access to multiple historical newspaper titles.

Portaportal: Is a collection of safe and useful websites librarins research and put together. The websites are categorized and include citation tools, college informtion, study guides and homework help.
