Our cafeteria at the 225 site received a make-over this year. As part of a program called PubliColor, students of 771K created a painting, based on the assignment that the painting explore color and movement, but contain nothing representative. Students then took colors from the painting and used them to paint the cafeteria. Students donated their time on Saturdays to complete the project, which was facilitated by 771K’s art teacher, Diane Herr. The result is a dynamic new lunch room, full of creativity!
