Our Mission

The mission of John Dewey High School is to offer an alternative form of education by empowering students to make decisions regarding their educational experience, by enabling them to grow at their own rate in an atmosphere of innovation and dynamic interchange and by providing an extended day for their academic, cultural and social enrichment. Our vision is to provide the opportunities that will allow our students to be successful in the rapidly changing work place of the 21st century. This can be accomplished by providing opportunities for students to utilize the latest technology and to engage students in classroom projects that incorporate real-world problem-solving strategies.
