Requirements for registration

Can I register my child for middle school at P.S. 207?
No. Unfortunately our building is not large enough to take in new students for grades 6-8.
The Fillmore Academy program is only open to current P.S. 207 5th graders. A small percentage of students are placed into our 6th grade CIG (District G&T) class by the Office of Student Placement.

What is the Fillmore Academy?
We call our middle school program The Fillmore Academy. The Fillmore Academy is located on the 3rd floor of our main building located at 4011 Fillmore Avenue.

What is the ECC ?
The ECC is our Early Childhood Center. ( Grades Pre-K, K & 1)  Our annex is located at 3920 Flatlands Avenue between Coleman and Hendrickson Streets. Students move to the main building on Fillmore Ave for 2nd grade.

Are there two Parent-Teacher Associations?
No. There is one, very busy PTA at P.S. 207. There are liaisons to the PTA representing The ECC as well as The Fillmore Academy.

Do you have District Gifted & Talented ?
For the school year 2011-2012-we have G &T on grades  1, 2, 3, 6, 7 & 8.
For the school year 2012.-2013-we will have G &T on grades  2, 3, 4, 6, 7 & 8.


Will my child receive bus service for the G&T program?
Bus service is not provided to unzoned students transferring into our G&T program.
