Please be aware that the first day of school is
Wednesday, September 9, 2009
Line up Procedures for September 9 and 10, 2009:
Kindergarten students will be escorted to their classroom by their parents.  On September 9th and September 10th all Kindergarten students will be dismissed at 11:25 a.m.
Grades 1 - 5 will line up by their room numbers painted on the ground in the schoolyard.  When teachers arrive, we are asking that all parents leave the schoolyard and stand outside the fence.
Line up procedures for September 11, 2009:
Kindergarten & Grade 1 - parents will escort their children to the auditorium using the side entrance on East 34th Street.
Grade 2 - Main entrance nearest to East 34th Street and Quentin Road
Grade 3 - Back courtyard closest to East 34th Street
Grade 4 - Back courtyard closest to East 33rd Street
Grade 5 - Back courtyard closest o East 34th Street

Beginning Tuesday, September 15, 2009 all Kindergarten and First Grade students will be escorted to the auditorium to meet their class when they are dropped off at the door on East 34th Street.  This door will be opened at 8:05 a.m. and closed at 8:20 a.m. 

In the event of inclement weather, Kindergarten and Grade 1 students will enter through the side door on East 34th Street.  However, all other students will be allowed to enter the building from their designated entrance at 8:00 to lineup inside the building.

Pre-K Students: 
Shortened session on Thursday, September 10, 2009*
AM Students - 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.        or     10:15 - 11:15 a.m
PM Students - 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.        or     1:15 - 2:15 p.m.
* You will be notified at orientation which session to attend
Pre-K shortened session - Friday, September 11, 2009
AM:  8:30 a.m. - 10: a.m.
PM:  12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Pre-K regular session begins Monday, September 14, 2009
AM:  8:15 - 10:45
PM:  12:00 - 2:30

Parent Ortientation:
Pre-K - September 9, 2009:
        AM Students & Parents:  9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
        PM Students & Parents:  1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. 
Kindergarten - September 10th at 1:00 p.m.****
Grade 1 - September 14th at 9:15 a.m.
Grade 2 - September 14th at 10:00 a.m.
Grade 3 - September 15th at 9:15 a.m.
Grade 4 - Septemer 15th at 10:00 a.m.
Grade 5 - September 16th at 9:15 a.m.
